DRUMS ON CEDAR FRAMES USING DEER HIDE WITH WALNUT STAIN. These authentic drums are handmade by Wayne Manthey of Minneapolis. Wayne has been making drums for over 14 years and also teaches drum making classes. He points out that each drum is different. Each mark and scar in the deer skin reflects the deer's life. This, he reminds, is the same wounding and healing process to which each of our own physical and emotional scars attest. "People are drawn to drums for different reasons," says Wayne, "and really, whether that attraction is guided by spirit, emotion, intellect, or gut instinct is immaterial. The effect is almost always the work of some deeper wisdom." CHOOSE 13", 16" OR 18" DRUM. The frame is 2 1/2" deep. SIZES ARE APPROXIMATE, WITHIN 1/2 INCH MORE OR LESS OF THE STATED SIZE.
